About Lorna Webley

Lorna Webley, Freelance Communications Consultant, is able to offer the full spectrum of communication services at competitive prices. Based in the South East, Lorna is a talented communications specialist with over 18 years experience, working for several agencies as well as acquiring in-house knowledge. She has a strong editorial background, acting as Senior Writer and Editor managing employee publications and customer magazines for many blue chip companies, including the Institute of Chartered Accountants England and Wales, GSL, the Home Office, Securior, EDS, GlaxoSmithKline, ConvaTec, Lilly Pharmaceutical, Somerfield, The Prince's Trust, Vauxhall Motors, Tui UK, McDonalds and Arriva.

 

Lorna has also worked on a number of successful PR campaigns to increase sales, encourage loyalty or raise awareness such as the launch of BT’s 141 and 1471 telephone management services, Saab GB Promotion in conjunction with Scandinavian Seaways and Cellnet’s Investment Programme. She has also worked on a media relations programme for the NHS, Constructions Products Association, top-10 leading integrated agency Tullo Marshall Warren (TMW) and AdLINK, Europe’s leading digital media business.

 

In addition, Lorna has put her internal and external skills to good use on internal communications, when she worked on a major Change Management Programmes for Royal Mail and Marks & Spencer. Besides concentrating her efforts on magazines/publications, internal communications and public relations, Lorna has produced business and educational case studies for Microsoft and Dell, writes regularly for the London Press Service (part of the Foreign & Commonwealth Office) and has been lucky enough to have an article featured in the Evening Standard.
